Around the world in 80 weeks in an electric car
On 17 December 2026, I plan to begin a new adventure:
360 degrees around the world in 360 days.
Starting in the UK, I’ll travel east in an electric vehicle, crossing countries and continents while showing what is possible with EVs, renewable energy and a little determination.
The journey will be split into several phases, beginning with:
PHASE ONE — UK TO CHINA
I’ll travel across Europe, through Türkiye, Georgia, Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan before reaching China.
From there, the wider #360in360 journey is planned to continue through Asia, Japan, South Korea, Australia, South America, Africa and back into Europe, completing a full journey around the globe.
This isn’t about racing around the world.
It’s about the people, places and stories along the way — discovering how electric vehicles are being used in different countries, finding charging infrastructure, meeting EV owners and businesses, and showing that long-distance electric travel is becoming increasingly possible.
I’ll be travelling initially in my little Volkswagen e-UP! all the way to china, therafter i'll be driving sponsors cars
